Speeding ticket in CA, way over 18, on parents' insurance - will they find out?
I am a legal adult and can pay the fine myself, as well as traffic school. However I am on my parents’ insurance & the car was registered in their name. Fine is doubled because of a construction zone. I’m located in (and this happened in) Los Angeles, California. If I take traffic school to erase the points, will my parents find out (if I decide I don’t want to tell them)?
Will add that this is my first ticket ever!

I think in California they forgive the first ticket and it would not show up on your DMV record as long as you take the traffic school. Just consult with DMV clerk…
